Capacity Building Program to the Revenue, Labour and Police Departments

FMM Social Service Society, Hanumakonda, in collaboration with the International Justice Mission (IJM), Hyderabad, organized a capacity-building programme on the Prevention of Human Trafficking and Abolition of Bonded Labour. The programme was chaired by Sri D.S. Venkanna, RDO, Parkal, with Dr. Anand from IJM serving as the resource person. Revenue, Police, Panchayat Raj, and Labour Department officials participated. The sessions strengthened awareness of human trafficking, child labour, bonded labour, and vulnerable workers. The RDO emphasized interdepartmental coordination and proposed establishing a Divisional Vigilance Committee, reinforcing institutional commitment to prevention and protection.
